In the city of Spielberg, in Austria, the pilot will have races 10, 11 and 12 of the season

Five days after having won his first podium in the 2016 season of  European F3, the Brazilian pilot Sérgio Sette Câmara (Red Bull | Petrobras | Cemig | Mercantil do Brasil), member of the Red Bull Junior Team, is already back on track for another important commitment in his season.

In the Red Bull Ring Racetrack in Spielberg, Austria, the pilot will compete in the fourth round of the F3 European Championship. The races, valid for the 10th, 11th and 12th rounds of the Championship are being expected by Sergio who, in 2015, his year of his debut, he achieved there a celebrated podium.

Last weekend, in the tight streets of Pau, Sette Câmara showed that he is living a time of great development in the Championship. Even facing a lot of rain on the day of the taking of times, he proved to be mature enough to be able to prepare a good setup for the car and, as a consequence, to rank well for the starts of the three races. Coming in second place in one of the races, his best result in the category, shows that the pilot is close to the first victory. Totaling 28 points in the last round, Serginho appears now with 58 points in the Championship standings, in ninth place.

The Red Bull Racetrack is rather peculiar and require the pilots an extreme work in each of the laps. Permanent headquarters of one of the stages of the World F1, the track has a stroke of 4,326 m permeated by just eight turns. In its greater point of speed, the  F3 cars reach 230 km/h.  Due to  its high speed characteristics,  the track requires a large aerodynamics load and also a big tire wear.

“I’m coming from a weekend where I had achieved the first podium of the year which gave us even more confidence to fight for the top score on the weekend and climb on the classification chart. The Championship is very long; however, we have  already completed more than 30% of the races which begins to effectively define who will be in the fight for the title. We have a long weekend ahead of us and I sincerely hope to celebrate once more my result with champagne “, commented the pilot from Belo Horizonte..

The three races of the weekend will be broadcasted live by the official website of the competition, as well as the live-timing system available at www.fiaf3europe.com
