After his good performance in Azerbaijan, he is aiming to score points in Red Bull Ring.

This weekend, from July 7 to 9, the F2 World Championship returns to Europe. At the Red Bull Speedway in Spielberg, Austria, the Brazilian driver Sérgio Sette Câmara (ACER | CCR | SANEPAV | TAESA | CEMIG | BELL) will have his fifth challenge of the season.

Coming from a very significant performance in the two Azerbaijani races, the MP Motorsport team driver is ready to fight for his first points in the year and to continue his growth in the main F1 feeder category.

During his two years competing in the F3 European Championship, Sérgio raced in this Austrian track. The layout is quite fast, but it has very technical curves which should be taken in first gear. In one of these curves, last year, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg were involved in a tense situation when their cars touched in the race previous to the last Grand Prix race. Uphill and downhill stretches complete the scenery of this racetrack that is situated in one of the most beautiful regions of the planet.

“I really like the Austrian track. I spent two years here and in the first one I won a podium and last year I beat the track record in a recovery race that I shudder to remember. Other than that, the curves eight and nine, which close the lap, are my favorites ones in the world. You come from a descending stretch and the two curves merge, as if it were a single curve. Very fast indeed. As for the goal for the weekend, it certainly is to score in both races. Here the tyre wear is less and, with that, I believe I will have less difficulty. Not to mention that, after every race, I’m more familiar with the category and each of the details”, commented the 19-year-old Brazilian.
