Formula-3 Brazil is back to Paraná for the penultimate round of the season

The Curitiba International Racetrack, in Pinhais-PR, will host this weekend, between October 17 and 19, the seventh round of Formula-3 Brazil, the races being valid for the 13th and 14th rounds of the Championship.

Making its debut year in single-seaters,  the Minas Gerais  pilot, Sérgio Sette Câmara (Banco Mercantil do Brasil | CEMIG | TAESA | MBR | Tear Têxtil | Lalubema | Patrus Transportes | Milplan) will have, for the first time in the year, the opportunity to participate in a race on a track in which he has already competed. At the end of July the fifth round of the Championship was played on this track and Sette Câmara, in his turn, had a remarkable participation  and went to the podium in two races of the round in a second and a third places.

Coming from several competitions in a row, Sette Câmara is experiencing the top of his physical shape and is quite prepared to the disputes of this round. Even having joined F-3 Brazil in the half of the season the pilot has been dedicating much to training and emerges as a strong candidate in the battles on this stage.

“I really enjoyed the Curitiba track. The stroke is too fast. Has high speed curves like that behind the boxes and the curve 0. For the first time I will have the chance to compete on a track known to me and, therefore, my goal will be really to find my limit and fight for my first victory on F3. Our team is very competent and I’m sure our car will be competitive to achieve victories”, commented the 16-year old pilot.

PROFITABLE DEBUT IN EUROPEAN F3

Last week Sette Camara had the opportunity to make his debut in the FIA F3 European Championship. The main competition of that sport worldwide, held between  the 10th and 12th the tenth round of the year at the Imola Racetrack, in Italy. Serginho, competing with an Euro International-Mercedes Benz team car, had the opportunity to get thoroughly acquainted with the category and all the infrastructure that involves the weekend of the competition.

Without any kind of pressure, the pilot had a big growth over the weekend activities. Competing against the currently main pilots, including Max Verstappen-newly hired by Toro Rosso F1 team, Sette Câmata showed his talent and managed to finish one  race in the 14th position, in a great recovery.
