The traditional circuit of Pau, in France, will host the third round of European F3

After passing through England and Germany the European F3 Championship follows, this weekend (15th-17th), to the West of France. On the streets of the city of Pau the competition will hold its third round of the year with the races valid for the seventh, eighth and ninth stages of the Championship.

In his debut season in competitions with single-seater the Brazilian pilot, Sergio Sette Câmara (Banco Mercantil do Brasil / Lalubema), from Belo Horizonte, will face the challenge of competing in his first race on a street circuit.

Differently from race tracks,  the tracks mounted on streets have very particular characteristics which make pilots and teams to  work in the extreme limit. Obstacles such as guides, posts, manhole covers and even a roundabout are part of this 2,760 meters track. Pau  GP is a special race of European motoring calendar which, in 2015, is in its 74th Edition. In addition to the European F3, F-Renault 2.0 ALPS, the French F4, the Caterham R300 and Twin Cup will participate in the event.

The town of Pau is inserted into one of the most beautiful regions of France, at the foot of the Pyrenees mountains, where the country borders with Spain. For its strategic position, the history of the competition and the amount of attractions in a single event, the organizers expect an audience of more than 100 thousand people in three days of programming.

For Sette Câmara, the  work has already begun. On Monday and Tuesday the pilot was at the headquarters of the Motopark Academy team, in Oschersleben, in Germany. There,  he made lengthy training sessions on a simulator together with Tom Dillmann, the team coach driver and his engineers.

“Every weekend we will have a different learning this year. In Germany it was the wet track, here in France, surely will not be the easiest task to accelerate amid so many obstacles. I’m excited to do a good job, but always with the focus to acquire the greatest experience possible. I will accelerate hard and seek my limit always”,  commented the 16-year pilot.
