Hockenheim Autodrome will host the last three races of the year

In Hockenheim – Germany, the same track which hosted the second stage of the year, in the month of May, the European F3 Championship reaches its 11th and last round of the 2015 season. The nearly 40 competitors participating in the main competition of the sport on the planet will have the responsibility to seek the results in the races valid for the 31st, 32nd and 33rd steps.

With two podiums in his debut season, 50.5 points and the 15th position in the Championship, the Brazilian pilot Sérgio Sette Câmara (Banco Mercantil do Brasil / Lalubema / Motoltpark Academy) arrives with his self-esteem quite high for the races.

In a year during which he experienced a 100% curve upward the pilot finishes his cycle as one of the main revelations of the world Motorsport. In his first season in single-seater racing cars Serginho proved to be extremely prepared and every race, as he acquired more experience, he answered with results in the main tracks of the old continent.

The Hockenheim racetrack, built in the post-World War I period, had in the month of May the audience  record of the year, with more than 150 thousand spectators. It’s a fast, challenging and very technical track. Its stroke, with a 4,574 meters extension, with 17 curves, six  to the left and 11 the right. The maximum speed reached  is 242 km/h, one of the highest of the year. During a lap,  the pilot makes 31 shifts and spends 84% of the time under full acceleration.

On Friday, which has a cloudy weather forecast, will be held two free practice sessions  and the two taking of times. Saturday, also  cloudy, the 31st and 32nd races. Finally, on Sunday morning, with a rain forecast, the track receives the 33rd and last race of the year.

“I’m pretty excited for the race. After our participation in May, when we were still on the second stage of the year, a lot has changed. I learned a lot, the team also excelled at various times and, together, we sought results that honestly I could not expect this year. The setup of our car has evolved a lot and I am sure we have actual conditions to fight for the top positions on the grid”, said the excited the 17-year pilot.
