Karting competition is something new in the European circuit and it will have three stages until the end of April

After the disputes of the Winter Cup in Lonato and WSK

Champions Cup, in La Conca, the European karting circus will  arrive this weekend in the town of Sarno, in the region of Naples, Italy, where it will be held the first of three stages of the WSK Super Master Series. The competition, the 2014 novelty of the company which also promotes the European and World Championships, promises to attract more than 250 pilots in each of its rounds.

The “mineiro” Sérgio Sette Câmara (Banco Mercantil do Brasil | CEMIG | TAESA | MBR | Tear Têxtil | Lalubema | Patrus Transportes | Milplan | ART), like in the two previous races, will be the only Brazilian representative in the KFcategory – the  highest step of international karting. As always happens, the pilot will have at his disposal the ART Grand Prix chassis, from the official factory team, and the attention from his our exclusive mechanic, the experienced Roberto Marocco.

The Sarno kart track is currently one of the most modern in Europe. With impressive 1,700 meters long, its track is very selective and offers to the pilots all sorts of difficulty, curves of different radii and ultra-high-speed points. The greatest difficulty for pilots and their teams is, no doubt, to find an tuning capable of offering the best performance both in the mixed part and as in the high speed areas.

Sette Câmara is quite excited for this new competition. Living in Spain since the beginning of the year the pilot has dedicated himself  to physical trainings and, in addition, he has participated in practice sessions in kart tracks that often receive races during the season as Motorland, in Alcaniz and Zuera, in Zaragoza.

“I am very excited for the disputes in the weekend. I trained last week in Zuera and our equipment is very competitive. I’m having a unique opportunity to develop myself in major world karting championships and, certainly, I will not waste the opportunity to become increasingly competitive and ascend the podium in each of these rounds”, commented the 15-year pilot.

The official program of the opening round of the WSK Master Series Super began yesterday, Thursday, with free practice sessions, which were extended to the end of the morning. The qualifying session will be held this afternoon. Tomorrow will be held all three qualifying races and, finally, on Sunday, the pre-final and final races.
