What pilots such as Michael Schumacher, Sebastian Vettel and Nico Rosberg have in common? For those who enjoy motoring is very easy. All of them are Germans and started their careers in karting competitions in that country.

The race was held at the Oschersleben karting track and had the participation of almost 200 pilots. In a fantastic race, of complete recovery, the pilot won and as a result could take the Brazilian flag and anthem to shine in the German podium.

Debuting his partnership with the Dutch team Keuzer Racing, which uses Zanardi chassis and IAME engines, the Brazilian pilot did not take long to adapt to the style of work of the new team. With his dedication and commitment to always, Serginho stood out on the training sessions and always appeared among the ten fastest on the track.

At the time of the taking time the pilot entered the track and without even completing one lap his  kart chain broke. Thus, without completing any lap, Serginho was just in the 41st time,  letting him in the condition of starting on the last line in the two qualifying races.

In these qualifying sessions, with boldness and determination, Sette Câmara used all his talent and learning achieved in recent years to seek recovery. In the first race he managed to gain 12 positions and finished in 13th and, on Monday, he overcame 18 competitors, arriving in seventh. With 20 points scored, he followed to the final race with a place in the sixth row, occupying the 11th place.

Excited with the equipment  the pilot followed for the final race, which was held on Sunday morning. Some of the leading names in karting today started ahead of him, such as Nikita Sitnikov (RUS); Jehan Daruvala (ENG), Nicklas Nielsen (DEN); Martjin van Leeuwen (HOL) among several others. Without being intimidated by the opponents, Sette Câmara made a flawless race. After a good start he managed to gain a few positions in the first curve and, from then on, he won space. With fantastic overtakings and a turn by turn dispute in the final laps, Sette Câmara managed to cross the finish line in the first position.

“I am very happy to win again an important race here in Europe. The world’s main pilots are here. I’m in a year of transition for the car and keep winning in the kart is very good. Win here in the land of my idols is even better. I thank all who are with me in this fight and mostly to my sponsors, who every day make this journey real, commented the representative of Banco Mercantil do Brasil | CEMIG | TAESA | MBR | Tear Têxtil | Lalubema | Patrus Transportes | Milplan.
