World Championship comes to an end with the Brazilian in clear evolution

This weekend (August 13-15), with a double round, the F-E World Championship reaches its last round of the season. In his first full participation in the competition, Brazilian driver Sérgio Sette Câmara has already arrived in Berlin and he is very excited about his chances of finishing the season again in the scoring zone.

Driving the  #7 car of the Dragon Penske team, the 23-year-old showed to be extremely bold and, above all, humble to learn and assimilate all the details of the electric category step by step. The competition, which passed through the Middle East, America and Europe, visited some of the most important cities in the world and in grand style, arrived in Germany for the last challenge.

On a track built at the former Tempelhof airport, Sette will have his first chance to race on a track he has previously competed in the F-E. Last year, due to the restrictions of the Pandemic, the Championship held the end of its season in this same location, with the disputes of six stages in an interval of only 9 days.

For this season, the event will be a little different. After the implementation of the new Penske EV-5 car, the North American team has evolved a lot during the stages. With immense dedication from the drivers, engineering teams and mechanics, the cars have shown to be more and more reliable. Excessive battery consumption, one of the main problems of the previous model, has been less and less noticed, not to mention that the equipment’s reliability has improved with each race. The best thermometer for this fact was the condition of the two team drivers having completed the London stage in the scoring zone.

“I am confident that we will be able to close this season on a high note here in Berlin. Our car is improving race by race and I’m sure we can be even more competitive in Tempelhof. Once again, I want to ask everyone for help in voting for Fanboost, which in this race will help us a lot”, commented the driver.

The track that will be used this weekend has an extension of 2,350 meters distributed between 10 corners and three straights. It should be noted that the Saturday race will be counterclockwise and on Sunday, clockwise.
