The extra-championship competition is in its 25th edition and has been won by many F1 pilots

For  the 25th year,  the Zandvoorf Circuit Park, in the Netherlands, will open its gates to host one of the largest and most traditional Formula-3 festivals in the World. The F3 Zandvoort Masters is an extra-championship competition, which traditionally brings together teams from various parts of the world and in its history, has already hosted numerous outstanding pilots in F-1.

After the latest European F3 Championship performances, in which he excelled in virtually every race, the Brazilian pilot Sergio Sette Câmara (Banco Mercantil do Brasil/ Lalubema Motopark Academy) was one of the guests by the organization of the event to get this title which, in the curriculum of any pilot, has a place of great prominence.

The festival of speed also counts with touring and super sport cars races, thus attracting thousands of people from all over Europe to follow the disputes. Among the current F-1 the following pilots have already been in this event:  Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Valteri Bottas, Nico Hulkenberg and Max Verstappen, last year’s champion.

Sette Câmara, in this season, already had a chance to compete at this track. The seventh round of the European Championship was held o that circuit and, in a round of growth, the Belo Horizonte pilot managed to finish the weekend with two seventh places after achieving good results in the practice and in the qualifying sessions.

The Zandvoort Race Track is fairly technical and fast. It has a total of 4,307 meters long permeated by four curves to the left and nine to the right. The qualifying race will last 12 laps and the main race 25 laps. The weather forecast indicates rain on Friday and Saturday and cloudy weather on Sunday, with temperatures not exceeding 14 degrees.

“I was quite happy for the invitation to participate in the Masters of Zandvoort. This race is extremely traditional and, apart from the title, it can help me a lot for the last two rounds of the Championship. Our car is very well tuned for o this track, I got here two seventh places in July and my expectation is to finish on the podium Sunday”, commented the Motorpark team pilot.
