Sérgio Sette Câmara will be on the track in search of a new podium

The period of European high summer is coming to an end and, as a result, the competitions of the old continent are resuming its calendars to the complementation of the 2015 season. Within this spirit, the European F3 Championship will have this weekend,  from September 4 to 6, its ninth round of the season with races 25, 26 and 27. The disputes will be held on the International  Algarve Circuit, in Portugal.

The pilot Sergio Sette Câmara (Banco Mercantil do Brasil / Lalubema / Motopark Academy), after spending three weeks with his family and friends here in Brazil, is back to his daily racing routine. Excited about the growing performance in the Championship,  the 17-year old pilot is very confident in a fruitful season finale

“This end of season has everything to be very good for us. We have the races this weekend in Portimão and then we will follow to Nurburgring and Hockenheim, in Germany. Unlike most of the tracks, in which I didn’t know, I have driven on these three race tracks. Either in trainings or even in races. . This, coupled with the good performance we had in the last rounds of the Championship, make me pretty confident in the quest for good results on the races this weekend and also  on the other two final rounds”, commented the pilot.

The International Algarve Circuit is one of the newest and modern racetracks of Europe. In a project valued at nearly € 200 million, the track has a 4,692 meters design and has a capacity for an audience of 100 thousand people. During the lap, which is performed clockwise, the pilots remain 81% of the time in  full acceleration. A total of 31 gear changes  are made  and the maximum speed of the F3 car reaches approximately 245 km/h.
